Hey Sparkles! Happy Friday! In today’s blog post, I am going to write about my experience helping Mama Rhea with her booth at the Southeast Homeschool Expo in Atlanta.
The Southeast Homeschool Expo lasted for two days, a Friday and Saturday. Mama Rhea had two talks, one each day, and the rest of our time was spent running the booth. The first day, we met an incredible young man who was interested in cryptocurrency and programming. He and his family sat in our booth for over 3 hours that Friday talking to Mama Rhea about their business ideas.
Another family that came to sit in the booth was a couple who met in Mama Rhea’s booth many years ago. They always come back every year and update Mama Rhea on their progress in various business ventures. The lady said she thinks Mama Rhea is grooming me to take over for her when she no longer wants to go to all these conventions every year.
The most exciting part of the weekend was when Mama Rhea made her rounds of the other booths, and I was able to talk to people who approached the booth about the amazing opportunity Educating for Success is.
When they asked me what Educating for Success is, I told them it was a community of like-minded people who want to homeschool their children to have home businesses. Some people immediately turned away, citing that they don’t want anything to do with that, but others said, “Really? That sounds interesting. Tell me more.” Those were the people we came to find.
One family that came by the booth had three children with them, and Mama Rhea told them the littlest one had the mind of a millionaire. The shock on the mother’s face as this prophecy was laid out for her was palpable. I was given a similar prophecy three years ago, when I started this blog. Mama Rhea said to my mom, “Keep this girl around; she’s going to make you a millionaire.”
Well, that’s all for today, Sparkles. Next week’s post will be about my weeklong trip up to Michigan for 5 college visits in 5 days. Thanks for reading, and Sparkles away!
