52 Godly Women – My Meeting with Emily Osbourne

Hey Sparkles, I am sorry for not posting my next 52 Godly Women update sooner. If you don’t remember why I’m doing this project, go to my original post. My posts will now come three times a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Mondays, I will do a “Monday Moment” post, which will tell about an interesting event in history or a holiday on that day. On Wednesdays will be when I post “Wednesday Wisdom.” This will be spiritual things and Godly Woman updates. Finally, on Fridays, I will post a “Family Friday” post, where I give activities or crafts or games. I will also do movie and book reviews for the Kid Approved section of my site on Fridays.

Anyway, this Godly Woman meeting was with a lady named Emily Osbourne. I met her in Florida on my way to a cruise I was going on with my family. To meet with her, both of us had to brave the rain. She specializes in offering business owners services and taught me how to do the same.

What was the most important thing I learned at this 52 Godly Women meeting?

The most important thing I learned at this meeting was to always look at the streams of income. If it doesn’t produce, you cut it off and stop putting so much effort into it. How to do this is to look at the cash flow and determine whether it is worth keeping or not. This is very important in knowing which things to invest precious time into. After all, there are only 24 hours in each day, so you have to prioritize your time wisely.

Other things I learned:

  • Be interested, not interesting. Don’t take up the whole conversation, let the other person talk.
  • Ask what people do for a living. They will be happy to talk to you.
  • Tell them what you do in a short, concise way. Don’t go on and on or they will get bored.
  • Make good relationships, because every person you meet is a potential client sometime in the future.

This was a very fun meeting, despite the rain. I was able to show her my adult coloring book, and she liked it a lot. She also subscribed to my email list. If you want to subscribe also, you can do it too. Just click here if you are interested. On the signup form, you can select which posts you want updates for, whether it be Monday Moment, Wednesday Wisdom, Family Friday, or All of the Above. Thanks for reading, Sparkles. Come back on Friday for a movie review for the movie Ella Enchanted!
