Beautiful Love Poem by my Best Friend

Hey Sparkles! Happy Friday! For today’s Family Friday post, I am writing about the beautiful love poem my best friend wrote.

I am so excited to share this poem with all my Sparkles. My friend is a beautiful writer, and her imagery is spot on. Since this is my blog post, I am going to brag on her here for a minute. She is so amazing and sweet. I’ve known her for three years now, and she is totally awesome. I hope that she writes more poems in the future.

Well, without further ado, my best friend!

My Best Friend’s Love Poem

I don’t know how to tell you
How much you mean to me
I want to scream until I break
But I will only show what I want you to see

I want to see your heart
And want to be more than a friend
I want to see you laughing
I hope that will never end

When I see you time to time
I see beauty in your eyes
Like the star in the night sky
Wishing with them you could see thru my lie.

You’re cute but the inside shines thru
When I see you my world turns to bliss
Your personality is wonderful
And sometimes I think about giving you a kiss

When I’m around you my heart grows wings
And flies to paradise
Your smile is like sunshine
When the world is out of lights
You give me happiness even in my darkest day
You fill my heart with love for you

My knees start shaking from stress
But it is nothing new
Sometimes I get lost into a reality
Of just appreciating your presence

I want to tell you all of this
In the moment it just makes sense
On paper is where all my feelings will be shown
The ink will bleed out my heart
And the words will be written carefully
It will be like a giant piece of art

I quickly run to get an envelope
That will be holding my mind
I fold the paper carefully
For it is one of a kind

I plan to give my poem
On February fourteenth
To the person I adore
So he can know what’s underneath
When I’m about to approach him
In my hand I am holding the truth
I start to question my choice
And if it will give any fruit

I am young which means I’m too selfish to have a relationship
If I wait to tell him how I feel our bond will have a better grip

Is it love that I feel or just fiction
The happiness from liking you is like an addition
To tell him now would mean he can never be my friend
And if he denies it our entire bond has to end

I have clouded my brain with the fantasies of the society
Going that road will lead to a lot of stress and anxiety
So I will wait to tell him all that I feel
So I can be sure that our relationship will forever be real
