The Chocolate Cake Caper
Hey Sparkles! Happy Family Friday. Today’s blog post is about what I like to refer to as “The Chocolate Cake Caper.”
First of all, my five little sisters are too smart for their own good. The most dangerous is the five-year-old.
So, my family was planning to bake a gluten-free, milk-free, egg-free chocolate cake for dessert. The five-year-old “helped” us make the cake. First, she got out a plastic container and caused a big mess of containers on the kitchen floor. Next, she poured in the cake mix, spilling half of it on the floor. Then, she got the coconut milk out of the refrigerator and poured the whole carton in the bowl. Well, what made it into the bowl and not on the floor. Last, she put the “chocolate cake” into the oven. Thankfully, she doesn’t know how to turn on the oven, or we would have had more mess to clean up.
Well, there you have it, Sparkles, the story of the Chocolate Cake Caper. As you can see, there is never a dull moment at our house. There is always excitement galore. I hope this blog post amused you today. Word of advice: Don’t let five-year-olds bake cake without adult supervision. Thanks for reading, and Sparkles away!
