Gloria’s Glorious Gluten-Free Trifle
How are you doing today? Today I am going to share a recipe for a dessert that my sister Gloria and my grandmother made.
My family calls this recipe Gloria’s Glorious Gluten-Free Cookie Trifle. It is made without egg, milk, wheat, soy, corn, and nuts. I hope you like it, Sparkles. Here goes:
Gloria’s Glorious Gluten-Free Cookie Trifle
8 Large Hodgson’s Mill Chocolate Chip Cookies (Already Made)
1 16oz Box Strawberry Jell-O
1 1/2 Cups Frozen Strawberries
5 Large Ripe Bananas
1/4 Cup Blueberries (Optional)
Make the Chocolate Chip Cookies according to directions on box.
Slice the frozen strawberries and bananas.
Make the strawberry Jell-O (Use fast make)
While stirring water for Jell-O add frozen strawberries to the water.
Set Jell-O in refrigerator until it is the right consistency (You can stick your finger in).
Crumble the cookies.
Layer in this order: Strawberries/Strawberry Jell-O, Bananas, Cookie Crumbs.
Repeat until bowl is full.
(Optional) Sprinkle blueberries on top.
