Godly Woman Kris Hunter
Hey Sparkles. Happy Wednesday Wisdom. Today’s blog post is about my Godly Woman meeting with Mrs. Kris Hunter.
Her favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:26, “Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.”
Mrs. Kris Hunter taught me many things while we were at Starbucks talking. One of the biggest things that were really impactful to me was that half of life is learning to trick yourself against your sin nature. I also learned that I need to practice time-management and set small but impactful goals for my life. My role model should not be a human I know, but the Proverbs 31 woman. She is able to do everything and somehow manage it all. Anytime you do anything stupid, you should ask yourself why until it gets annoying and you get to the root of the problem.
I need to get out from behind my shield and just be myself. I am not too different, and it is okay to be vulnerable. To get to know yourself, you really have to dig deep down inside to figure it out. God has called me to be different and reach the world for the Gospel and I need to use my talents for his glory. God did not call me to a life of safety. I can’t just ignore my problems, because they will not go away on their own without me dealing with them.
Another thing I learned is that math is designed to teach you how to think, so you need to make it a game and pretend it is fun. Well, that’s all for today, Sparkles. Come back for Family Friday and a funny story about my sisters. Thanks for reading, and Sparkles away.
