Setting the Stage Summer Theater Day Camp

Hey Sparkles! Happy Friday! For today’s Family Friday post, I am writing about the summer camp I am going to be running in July. It is called Setting the Stage Theatre Summer Camp.

This post is a promotional post for the camp for 9-15-year-old musical theater lovers. Full details can be found on this page, but below are most of them.

Setting the Stage Camp Details:

The camp will take place from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm the first Monday – Thursday, on July 8 – 11, and from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on July 12 for the audition day and from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on July 15 – 19. Drop-off begins at 8:30 am (For the first week, drop-off begins at 11:30 am) and students MUST be picked up no later than 3:15 pm.
On the final day of camp, parents will be asked to stay for the performance.

Any musical theater-lover age 9 – 15 may attend the camp, provided they are comfortable with reading, writing, singing, dancing, and memorizing lines. This camp is great for those with any level of theater experience to enjoy. Although there is an “audition” on the first Friday, all students will have one or more parts to perform in the final performance.

Students are asked to bring:

  • Their own sack lunch (No peanut butter, please. Also, not required for the first week, as they should eat lunch before arrival.)
  • Water bottles
  • Snacks
  • Comfortable, modest clothing to dance and move around in

The cost of the two-week camp is $150, which includes everything the student will need, including a special Setting the Stage Theater Summer Camp t-shirt, which will be printed with the students’ names on it.
Please email sparklebandafaith@gmail.com if you are interested in signing up.

Sign-ups will officially open in 1 week, but right now, you can sign up for the camp email list to receive updates and a link to register for the camp as soon as it opens.

Well, that’s all for today, Sparkles. Thanks for reading, and Sparkles away!
